1990 to 2005
After transitioning from animation to illustration, the bulk of work completed from 1990 to 1994 was for agencies and PR firms requiring original illustrated pieces for use in printed ‘point of sale’ items such as posters, billboards, brochures, newspaper and magazine ads, postcards, and flyers.
During this time all these commissions were completed in a combination of mediums; watercolour ink on mounted water colour paper, finished with coloured pencils and gouache, as well as full acrylic paintings on board. Digital painting in Photoshop is the current tool of choice.
